Complete the application form and submit via post or email to Fisheries Queensland.

The health protocols for moving aquatic animals outlines the official processes to minimise disease risks:

- legislation
- required health certifications.
You are legally obligated to follow:
- the general health protocol when moving aquatic animals within Queensland or interstate
- the protocol for the specific species you’re moving
- policies for relaying and transhipment of oysters and oyster seed.
Importing into Australia
You cannot import live aquatic animals into Australia for use in aquaculture. The Australian Government manages the processes and approvals for importing animals.
