Reading your water meter

If you hold a relevant authorisation such as a water licence, you need to report your water usage.

The Water Regulation 2016 states who needs a water meter or measurement device and when you need to submit a meter reading.

How to read your water meter

When reading any meter, always provide all the numbers as they appear on the dial.

This includes any leading and trailing zeros.
