You will need to submit application forms and pay application fees if you want to conduct activities requiring an environmental authority (EA) in Queensland.
You can use the EA forms and fees finder to work out what forms to use and fees to pay.
Forms and fees below are for EAs where the administering authority is the Department of Environment, Science and Innovation (DESI) or Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF). You can use these forms to apply for, comply with and make changes to your EA.
If a local government is your administering authority, you need to contact them about forms and fees.

The assessment fee is payable once notification of the assessment level decision is issued. The assessment fee must be paid before the assessment of the amendment application can proceed. |

Amendment fee For an amendment application for a PRCP schedule, or joint PRCP schedule and EA amendment, where DESI is the administering authority:

| Assessment fee Where an assessment level decision determines that the application is for a major amendment, an assessment fee is also payable. | 30% of the annual fee for the authority at the time the application is made. The assessment fee is payable once notification of the assessment level decision is issued. The assessment fee must be paid before the assessment of the amendment application can proceed. |
| Supplementary annual fee If the annual fee increases because of the amendment, a supplementary annual fee is payable within 20 business days of the amendment being approved. |
