You can also connect with small business financial counsellors and small business wellness coaches.

- Find advice on pay and leave entitlements for you and your employees during natural disasters and emergencies from the Fair Work Ombudsman.
- Contact the Employer Assistance Line on 1300 731 988 for advice on managing staff during difficult times (operated by Business Chamber Queensland).
Help with rebuilding
- Work with licensed contractors:
- Find an electrician from the Master Electricians Association for electrical safety tests.
- Find a plumber from the Master Plumbers' Association.
- South East Queensland rainfall and flooding register lists licensed contractors working in your local area who can help with clean-up or repairs.

Grants, payments and financial help may be available to help your business recover.
Financial counsellors
- Rural financial counsellors help farmers, fishing enterprises, forestry growers, harvesters, and small related businesses experiencing financial challenges in their business.
- Small business financial counsellors provide free financial counselling support to business owners who are experiencing or are at risk of financial hardship.
- Small Business Debt Helpline provides businesses with free, independent and confidential advice on your finances.
Mental health and wellbeing support
- Learn about health and wellbeing services for primary producers.
- Learn about mental health and wellbeing services for business.
- Contact a small business wellness coach for help with unique and personal business challenges, needs and opportunities.
- Learn about personal and mental health support during and after a disaster.
Lost or damaged documents
- Document replacement services may be free to people who live in a declared disaster area.
- The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) will help replace lost, damaged or destroyed documents for:
- industries (licensed by OFT)
- charities and not-for-profits (registered by OFT).
